Zoloft may cause birth defects in newborns

Posted on April 20th, 2011 No Comments

Zoloft, a popular anti-depressant medication, has been reported by patients that it caused their newborns to suffer fromĀ  birth defects when they were prescribed it during pregnant.

Recently, multiple drugs have been linked to birth defects when women take them while they are pregnant and it could be because the manufacturers are downplaying the risks that they may cause.

Some birth defects that have been associated with Zoloft are congenital heart defects, neural tube defects, club foot, anal atresia, craniosynostosis, and omphalocele.

If your child has suffered a birth defect after you were prescribed Zoloft while pregnant, contact the Zoloft birth defect lawyers of Williams Kherkher today by calling 800-641-9810.
