Posted on May 27th, 2011 No Comments

The prescription drug Zoloft has been associated with a number of birth defects, including clubfoot.

Clubfoot is a term used to describe a group of congential deformities of the ankles or feet. There are many types of clubfoot, which, if not corrected, can have a lifelong affect on mobility. There are nine unique varieties of clubfoot, which are:

– Calcaneal Valgus
– Calcaneocvalgus
– Metatarsus Varus
– Talipes Calcaneus
– Talipes Equinovarus
– Talipes Equinus
– Talipes Valgus
– Talipes Varus
– Valgus Calcaneus

If your child was born with a birth defect, such as a type of clubfoot, and you used the antidepressant drug Zoloft while pregnant, you may be entitled to compensation.
