Zoloft linked to other side effects

Posted on October 19th, 2011 No Comments

A doctor in Dallas, Texas reveals recent studies that target Zoloft and other selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors as causing low libidos and other sexual side effects.

When Zoloft is used it reduces dopamine in an area of the brain which can be linked to a low libido. This reduction happens when specific serotonin receptors are targeted by the drug.

If Zoloft is taken during pregnancy, it has also been noted that numerous birth defects are directly related to the anti-depressant. These defects include heart defects, cleft lip and palate and pulmonary hypertension.

If you used Zoloft while pregnant and your child developed a birth defect, please contact the Zoloft lawsuit attorneys of Williams Kherkher by calling 800-641-9810 today.
